Our CEO – Mr Bhavesh Kataria completed his MBA in marketing and later joined his family business. His visionary father Shri Suresh Kataria initially started off as Kataria Insurance Consultancy. Later on, Kataria team was headed by his brother Jitendra Kataria who is well versed in life and general insurance policies.

Starting in 1999, as Kataria Insurance Consultancy we used to deal in General Insurance i.e. Fire, Marine, Mediclaim, Motor, etc. Later, coming in contact with jewellers & understanding the pain of jewellers & their risks, Mr. Bhavesh Kataria convinced insurance companies to cover Jeweller’s Block policy and his passion for jewellery inspired to create a niche in jewellery insurance sector. Since our inception, we have provided exemplary insurance solutions to 10,000+ Jewellery clients. We are the first insurance consultants in India to specialize in gems and jewellery insurance.

It took us 5 years to organise the Jewellery sector in India and convince insurance companies to cover risk without fear. In 2010, we solved Royal Chain’s complicated claim of Rs. 1.54 Crores and became the trusted name across India. The jewellery business comes under one of the riskiest industries & we at Kataria proudly safeguard every second jewellery business in India. This is why we understand the jewellery business better than anybody. To sum it up we are obsessed with jewellery and value your treasured business as much as you!

In 2013, we expanded our operations & services in other industries across India with 16 offices pan-India. With our success in jewellery insurance, various businessmen from different sectors started approaching us for their business insurance.

Today, we are trusted by 20,000+ clients from Jewellery, Textile, Pharma & various other industries across 300 cities in India. Currently, we have our corporate office located in Mumbai near Zaveri Bazaar, although our company representatives are scattered all across the country within 16+ cities. We are authorized under IRDA and have a multi-city presence to provide you with accessible and easy service.

Previously our company was known as Kataria Insurance Consultancy. We used to deal in both life and general insurance policies. But since we belong to the Jain and Jewellery community which goes hand in hand. After completing my MBA in marketing, I Joined my family business and with the support of my visionary father Shri Suresh F Kataria, I decided to concentrate and develop a Pan India niche jewellery market which needed specialized knowledge related to books of Accounts, jewellery trade, complex nature of claims etc.

Thus we dropped all the other line of insurance businesses and renamed our company as ‘’Kataria Jewellery Insurance Consultancy‘’ in 2004. It was definitely a big and a very difficult decision for us to make but since then, there was no looking back. With the grace of God, support of our clients and hard work of our experienced and dedicated team lead by My brothers Jitendra Kataria and other family members. We are today more than 10 times bigger and efficient than our former company.
